Design Engineer – Technological and Corporate Communication in Energy (linear facilities: cable or overhead along transmission lines 35–750 kV, station facilities)

Your responsibilities:

  • Development of design documentation for communication systems at energy facilities.
  • Designing communication lines (FOCL, OPGW, copper cables) along 35–750 kV overhead transmission lines.
  • Designing station communication equipment (SDH, PDH, IP/MPLS, telemechanics).
  • Preparation of schemes, drawings, specifications, technical solutions.
  • Coordination of solutions with related sections (power supply, SCADA, security systems).
  • Cooperation with the design team, clients, and telecom operators.
  • Participation in project approvals with investors and regulatory authorities.

Will be an advantage:

  • Experience in designing communication systems at substations and OHL 110–750 kV.
  • Knowledge of IEC, ITU-T, ETSI standards.
  • Experience with Cisco, Huawei, RAD, Siemens equipment.
  • Certified design engineer (СС2 / СС3).
  • Knowledge of English and/or Polish.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Higher technical education (communications, telecommunications, automation, electronics).
  • At least 2 years of experience in communication systems design for energy facilities.
  • Knowledge of regulatory documentation (DSTU, DBN, PUE).
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office.
  • Preferably: knowledge of Visio, QGIS, EPLAN.
  • Responsibility, attention to detail, ability to work in a team.
